The 11th Annual Tongues on Fire Film Festival

Starring Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Rishi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Delhi-6 is about a young American boy, Roshan, of Indian origin who accompanies his ailing grandmother to India for the first time.

Not familiar with the sites and smells, the food and culture, the religion and beliefs, he discovers the warmth and affection of the neighbourhood that embraced him with open arms.

Amidst all this he meets the beautiful Bittu, who wants to break free from the typical Indian social structure.

There's also Mehreen Jabbar's Ramchand Pakistani about a 7 year old Pakistani boy and his father who, belonging to the untouchable Hindu caste accidentally cross the border and spend years in an Indian jail while the mother on the other side doesn't know what has happened to them.

The film stars Starring Nandita Das, Rashid Farooqui, Sayed Fazal Hussain and there is a Q&A with Mehreen Jabbar later.

Deepa Mehta's Heaven On Earth in Punjab with English subtitles, the film stars Preity Zinta, Vansh Bhardwaj, Gick Grewal, Geetika Sharma, Yanna McIntosh.

Preity Zinta plays the leading role of Chand, a young Indian Punjabi woman who finds herself in an abusive arranged marriage with an Indo-Canadian man.
